We are living in a cobweb

I am kinda confuse with what with suppose to post this week

Anyway I am going to blog about what I understand from
Open Cultures and Nature of Networks from p62-66.

Kindly refer to below link to know detail

Before this, I would like to define What is networking in my opinion.

Networking is not an object but is a technology which connects
Is like oxygen, we can't see, touch, or feel it
but it is exists

I believe,
network will be like an oxygen one day which everyone can't live without network

Networking consist of a group of two or more computers connected to each electronically.
Networking can link every computer in the network and communicate with each others. We can use the network to connect everyone together globally through internet such as facebook, email, etc. Computers can be part of several different networks. Networks can also be parts of bigger networks. Networking are available all the time with sufficient information.

This is what I found in You Tube, What is Networking by Keith Ferrazzi

According to Open Cultures and Nature of Networks from p62-66.
Mention Information Ecology,
Based on scientific study, ecology is a study of living organism & environmental
But what is Information Ecology?

Like what I said previously,
"network will be like an oxygen one day which everyone can't live without network"

Our lifestyle, especially for generation Y
we use mobile to communicate with our beloved, we use laptop/computer to communicate with the world...
rather than we want technology
we actually need it.

Information technology & network is already part of our life
part of our environment
This is how the new term "information ecology" exist nowadays.

I am strong agree with the 4 point stated below:

 Interdependency
In the world of networking, we rely on each other, it's all about
Sharing

      웃  유   웃     Math - Symbol for Infinity (Undefined)
            A                     B                       C                    D                      I

A/B/C/D/I can always share with A/B/C/D/I and A/B/C/D/I or even more without A/B/C/D/I

Change
The world of technology is like a cloud
This second it's look like a rabbit, the next second it might become a human face talking to each other.

Time-boundness
The world of network technology was tie with time

Differentiation

If you are like me,
English article is complicated to understand
this like are the Chinese version of the same content as

  1. Very agree with the points in this point. Nowadays is like we want the technology but now we are 100% dependent on the network especially for the teenagers nowadays.

Strongly agree with the point that network is like oxygen and everyone get the supply from the network. This is a very crucial issues that our generation had faced.

Thanks for the point Serene! Hope to see your next post! :) All the best!

  2. Thanks Chiu Yein,
At least, it is how I feel. I need network like i need oxygen.

  3. I like how you use the images as the point! Simple and straight forward.

Network/technologies is like a cloud. This is so true. You might see it looks like this in a second but the next second it'll be different. Just the the Sun. It's changing it's position EVERY second but it's the matter if we realize it or not. But normally, when we realized that, it already changed. Hard to keep update with it huh. Heh!

I like the way you post! Some random out of topic thing, a little small recommendation is that maybe you use a lighter font? This font is like stressing every word you typed. Idk about the others but sometimes I find it hard to read because the words are all close to each other. Just a small comment. Haha If you still like the font, just go ahead with it! =) Hope you don't mind! D:

  4. Hey Serene

I like how you point out that networking is like oxygen and I think that is true, without network where will we be today? Networking is important to us as it is POWER as mentioned in my first post in my blog. Networking today has open the door to countless new opportunities and market as well.

  5. Great post Serene! I particularly agree with what you said "network will be like an oxygen one day which everyone can't live without network:" I think we're already heading that direction, especially with your points mentioning that it has become a need for our generation instead of say our parents.

With that said though, it's quite scary how digital networks have come into our lives and made us into a whole new generation. It's influence is huge and disastrious if not protected and look upon delicately. The whole digital network thing is still very much foreign and new to us, so far we've seen its benefits, but I think some disadvantages have already appeared and will soon be a big question in the future. I think we must all brave ourself to open-minded to what the digital networks can offer, and not forget the ethics, moral values and life lessons we have learnt from our society and non-virtual networks. We have to becareful of what we do as our future generation depends on our works, contributions and sacrifices :)

    What do you think?

  6. Hi Serene,

I like how to liked the internet to oxygen to us, and I agree with you on that point.

As we can see today, our internet citizens are addicted to the internet and which out the internet we would probably go insane due to how much we rely on it for practically everything in our life. Agree?

  7. Haloo sarene....great work on the article. the pictures used actually helped alot in understanding the whole context of the journal. besides that i also agree with sharmila in you linked the internet with oxygen. Actually we are now very much dependent on the internet like we are towards oxygen where there isnt merely a day would pass by without us accessing the cyberworld unless we are actually out of the reach of the computer.

  8. Thanks for the comments.
I would like to conclude, every matter in this world has pro and con, it's just depend on how we interpret, how we think.
